Dubrovnik Film Meeting is a manifestation emerged in cooperation between Adriatic Luxury Hotels, Sarajevo Film Festival, and the magazine Glorija. This is a unique film event which eminent guests of the Sarajevo Film Festival have been visiting for four years now.
Until now, thanks to this manifestation, Dubrovnik audience has had the chance to see some of the most famous film workers of today, among which there are:
actors Nick Nolte, Steve Buscemi, Kevin Spacey, Gillian Anderson, Mickey Rourke, Morgan Freeman; producers and directors Cat Villers, Terry George, Danis Tanović, Jasmila Žbanić, Darren Aronofsky as well as numerous famous Hollywood A production actors and directors.
The highlight of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels spectacular summer program ‘Stars underneath the Stars’ is certainly the Dubrovnik Film Meeting which has during the recent years become an ever more influential film manifestation.
Fourth year in the raw this unique manifestation is organized by the Adriatic Luxury Hotels in cooperation with the most prestigious regional film festival – Sarajevo Film Festival and Gloria Magazine.
This year’s Dubrovnik Film Meeting will last two days, 21 and 22 August. On the first evening on the VIP Beach at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel movie “The Wrestler” will be screened. The star of the spectacular evening will be the leading actor of this touching sports drama, Mickey Rourke, and director, screenwriter and producer Darren Aronofsky. The eminent American actress Gillian Anderson will also attend the Dubrovnik Film Meeting.
On the second day, that is August 22, Adriatic Luxury Hotels and Sarajevo Film Festival in cooperation with Dubrovnik Summer Festival will organize a unique and unrepeatable gala film screening underneath the stars in the very centre of the old city of Dubrovnik, on the field in front of the Knežev dvor.
That way, more than a thousand viewers from Dubrovnik and their guests will have the chance to see this outstanding realization.
